Some guy drops dead and leaves you $250,000.00, yes thats right, $250,000. In his will he says buy what ever car you want and use the rest to do stuff more stuff for it. So what car would you buy, what would you do to it and what would the compainies be. You could also do more than one.

My first

Money left over:$ 164,927.67

Lets see those cars. :) :) :D

Pay off my debt the make my 1997 BMW 528i look nice and go fast. Build up my IH Scout Terra, buy a car trailer then buy a BMW E30 M3. Build up the M3 for BMWCCA Club Racing. Upgrade my computers so I can host my cool website that i haven't thought of yet. Make my condo look really nice. Buy more guns, R/C cars, and other toys that haven't thought of yet.

I would buy a Big Block for the Blazer. Modify the chassie and get it worked up to do professinal draggin with it

First I would buy a BMW M3.
Then a Dodge Viper SRT-10
so now I have spent around $150,000
Next I would get a Dodge Ram 3500 and an enclosed trailer to pull both cars.
Now I have around $30,000 left. I'll just keep that for myself, where is the next Buffet?...

I'd Drop about $100k at MotoRex and bring home a Nissan Skyline R-34. I would leave it stock.
It would be a kick to have the only Skyline in KS.

250 US?
****, thats around 500k where I am.
Id place an order for the HRT 427 - 220k
Nissan Patrol 4.8 - 80k
Nissan Skyline GTR - 125k
used VN SS Group A - around 50-60k
5k for insurance

First I would mod my E30 M3 with all of the goodies. Rebuilt by probably Don fields, and stroked to 2.5 evo spec. Schrick cams, alpha N, and all of the other stuff. It would be nearing 300hp NA. I would keep it streetable, but like frestkd said, mine would probably only be used for drivers schools and autoXs.

I would then buy an e46 M as a daily driver.

Im still thinking about what to do with the rest. Maybe I would buy a version of the new 996 GT3. Actually, if this money could be spent on anything there is no way I would waste it on vehicles. It would be invested, or I would use it to try and start a race driving career.

250 US?

Buy a Shelby American Cobra kitset: $60,000US
Get it shipped to here: $10,000US approx
Race preped 427CI engine: $20,000US approx
$90,000US.

Probably buy an R34 GTR Skyline as well, get it done up, sounds, interior etc... No idea of the price.

If the Skyline fell thru. I believe that I would have to search for a 6-series Bimmer in restorable shape.
Then I would put all the Alpina goodies on.

When the GTRs were in production, they were going for 125k here (I think, maybe 135k I cant remember). But since September or around that time of the year last year, Nissan NZ stopped selling them, along with Nissan around the world

Dunno. I'd only buy something if it fit my lifestyle. I'd probably get a pickup truck for browsing Texas and keep the rest.

There ya go. Everything is already done. CTR2. Now where's my money?
911_ctr2.jpg

Damn Milefile, that is a beautiful picture.

I would buy a 911 GT2 for $180,000 and spend $70,000 bringing it up to over 600hp.

I am pretty sure this would be the fastest car you guys can think of.

OK, slight change in plans for my idea.
I'll keep the ram and the Trailer.
Get the Viper tuned by PVO and the BMW tuned by Alpino. Next I would get a Porche 911 Turbo with GT3 race spoiler and front bumper. So now I am over the $250,000 mark by $65,000. Just win a few races and I fix that!...

1. i would buy a wrc spec lancer and the rest on a piece of farm property to run it on.

2. a dodge ram 2500 crew cab short bed diesel, 24ft trailer, dirt sprint car and midget.

ZZIIs already are upgraded ;)

I would get myself a "Top-Secret" tuned Toyota Supra ( about 100kAUS), then with the 400k left i would buy myself a nice HRT 427, then an R34. :D

I've got a whole mess of things to do to my WRX (COBB 2.5L block, GT3037S turbo, all-new transmission...etc.), but since that only comes out to $85,000 (including the car), I'd have to spend the remaining $165,000 on my custom-integrated home a/v...and toss in an extra $35,000 to finish it. I, uh, have a full layout of the whole install. Anyone interested in buying a $300,000 24-zone, 3-theater system, I've got a whole proposal ready to go. :)

No, really...I do. Wanne see?

pm it to me. i often do little things like that. make an imaginary purchase list of lots of expensive things.

if your design is really nice why not try and sell it to billionares? this could be a job for you.

250K US=950K Malaysian dollars

250K for a Lancer EVO
50K to mod it up to 450-500BHP
200K for a Lotus Elise
50K for engine swap, bump power to 250-300BHP
400k for M3.

Revision:
I would also buy a new Thunderbird, in Peacock green with a white top. Then I would Jettison those ugly wheels for a nice set of 5-spokes. With the remaining Hundred G's I would start searching for a well preserved or well restored 1962 T-bird Sports Roadster, with the 428 cid engine.

TVR Speed 12

Quad Turbo

Nos

Traction Control

Convert it to 4WD

Big a$$ wheels.

About it really.

Nothin' special :D

That is the point. The only problem is that I'm only two years into this field and I don't exactly know any billionaires yet. Yet. ;)
