pink slips.

If pink slips were introduced the age rating for the game would go upto 12 or T because of the gambling nature of it.
I'm not sure PD would limit their market like this.
I'm not saying it's a bad feature though.:)

I was talking about pink slip races. I think they were available in another game once but I can't remember what it was , it might have been "juiced" but I'm not sure.

You could race for pink slips in Midnight Club: LA

Would be weird restricting children from betting fake money/cars in virtual races but it's perfectly fine for them to simulate driving 200mph into oncoming cars. Cars are weapons essentially, you can kill a lot of people with one, a lot more harm would come from dangerous driving than gambling your finances away.

I don't see the point when it's relatively easy to buy cars in the game as opposed to real life.
Yes you can buy standard cars but I meant racing cars that you have tuned. I think it would be a buzz pitting your finest against someone else. The thought of losing not only the race but also the car would add to that thrill.

The difference being you are not encouraged to drive bad/dirty whereas pink slips if it were implemented,is a feature or part of the game.
Also you'd have to be a strange kind of person if you were to pass your driving test and cause havoc afterwards because you did it on GT6.
But I get your point though, driving fast is dangerous and gambling is bad too,
PEGI feel they can draw a line but it's a bit grey isn't it?
EDIT:@jim your right it's juiced
one of my favourite games ever.:)

You can do pink slips in many street racing games, including both Juiced 1&2 (which I enjoyed very much). I miss my yellow Gran Torino from Juiced 2 :(
