What quadrant are you in?

And whom are you closer to?

I'm on the libertarian* - Danoff falls off his chair - left one, almost the same spot Ghandi dot is.:)

* Although libertarian really means anarchism there as opposed to fascism. Oh, I'm not 100% sure this test wasn't posted before but I haven't found it after a few searches.

D'oh! forgot the (rather low) possibility of being exactly on the center... well, in that case Ann says you're a freakin double idiot! :dopey:

Economic Left/Right: 3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.77

That puts me between John Howard and George W. Bush.

Sounds good to me.

Economic Left/Right: -3.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.46

Interesting. :)

I don't have time to do it properly right now but I clicked "Strongly Agree" on everything and got:

Economic Left/Right: 0.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4.36

That puts me next to the Pope.

My political compass:-

Economic Left/Right: -7.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.44

(lower bottom left hand corner... :) )

Economic Left/Right: 0.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.87

Bottom half, but slap-bang in the middle of the left/right...

i'm sure i took this before. okay, here are my results...

Economic Left/Right: -2.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.46

An interesting little questionaire, i thought the questions were a little unspecific and the answers a bit black & white, i often sat between 'agree' and 'disagree'

Economic Left/Right: -4.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.33

it would seem that i am the Dalai Lama...

....or slightly less libertarian than him

You want a threesome with Howard and Bush?

Do you give to Howard whilst Bush gives to you (he probably already does) or the other way around?

I remember taking this test about 2 years ago, and wound up just a tick to the left of the center axes. (Which is perfect for a very short political career that would involve a ton of hush money, I suppose)

Let's see what happens now:

Economic Left/Right: -0.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.79

Wow, I'm closer to Dali Lama than anybody else.

Economic Left/Right: -3.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.05

I fell into the libertarian left, right between Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.

P.S. It's Gandhi, not Ghandi.

Yeah, it's the other way around.

We love it when Rumsfeld tortures us. He is such a S&M freak.

Economic Left/Right: 2.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.18
hmmm economics close to Viper zero...social close to Famine...a famazero or a viperfam.
I'm a libertarian right winger...whatever that is.

Yeah, it's the other way around.

We love it when Rumsfeld tortures us. He is such a S&M freak.

I always took Rumsfeld to be a masocist rather than a sadist (sexually, we know he is politically)

Libertarian right. Big surprise there.

I too, found myself wishing for more options, since some of the questions are phrased in a very black and white way without opportunity for fine tuning. It was nice to see they had some follow-up questions, however.

Economic Left/Right: 5.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.26

... and that puts me out in the middle of nowhere. More socially liberal than Friedman but less economically liberal.

Good find, though, JP.

Economic Left/Right: 6.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.95

That put me pretty close to 'ol Uncle Milty, but with a somewhat more socially liberal viewpoint.

I thought i was a bit of Fascist underneath but its obviously brought out the true me.

Economic -3.13.
Author/Libert 0.10.

Im a Communist..................................

I agree that some "neutral" choice should be there in answers, that or some less black/whilte questions, but I liked the idea of more than one axis to define the political spectrum, as opposed to the usual left vs right debates.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 2.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.85

I'm close to Ariel Sharon. Also I'm pretty close where I thought I would be.

No wonder we disagree on everything. :dopey: :D

I'm a "centrist"?! :ouch:

geez Brian, left of centre?

Strange, isn't it? I figured I'd be right of center, but I guess not. Blame that on my New York upbringing! :dopey:

I guess that means that I can "see" both sides of the issue? :sly:

dbartucci
geez Brian, left of centre?
Me, Omnis and MrktMkr scored pretty closely(maybe even JP). We should start our own party called "The Cool People Party". :sly: Democrats or Republicans won't stand a chance!
