Pit-in Strenght level in pit strategy.

It forces your Bobs to pit when their strength bar hits whatever level you've selected, regardless of tire wear or fuel level. If it's left off, they will pit based only on tires and fuel and ignore strength, which will be gone by the time they pit.

Pro tip - In the 24 hour endurance races, do NOT have it turned on as they will pit every lap.

for gods sake NEVER EVER set it too 90 .

Some Idiot set it too 90 me :dunce:

Bob pitted after one lap

Actually after that Mistake i've never used Pit Strength Ever and not had a problem .

The percentage of the pit strength level correlates with the percentage of the Bob's strength bar. When you're not watching your Bob's race, it's best to keep the pit strength level at 10%, that way your Bob's pit at the same strategy the AI's do. But when you are watching, keep it at 0%, because your there to decide yourself when to allow each of your Bob's to pit.

For example, with 10% pit strength level, your Bobs will pit when the strength bar is almost gone, around 90%. With 20%, around 80% gone, etc., etc., etc.

@ D00msday - I'm confident that when you get to the 24 hour races you'll change your mind about putting The Bobs at 10%. When they are in their 4th stint in the vehicle and their strength is gone before they even get in, they will pit every... single... lap... Ten percent is fine for the shorter races but for the 24's, keep it at zero.

So, they don't recover while hanging out in the pits with bob2 racing?
They do, just not fully. I guess I shouldn't have said their "strength is gone before they even get in" as that was a bit exaggerated, but not by much.

ya i NEVER use that strength/pit setting and my bobs win every time. just leave that setting alone it's totally unnecessary. at least that's been my experience, and my b-pec bobs have won every race except the very last endurance Nurb 24, which i am getting close to leveling up to.

Does anyone else think it would be better, in Pit Strategy, to choose to pit in after X amount of laps, so that the experience is spread evenly amongst your bobs?

Does it really do tire wear? I know it does Rain/Intermediate changes on weather change, but I thought that only fuel forces a pit otherwise?

I recall needing it on Tsukuba to avoid running on bald tires as the tires wore out faster than the fuel ran out...

Problem with this is if Bob doesn't recover 100% while his friends are driving, you're looking at diminishing returns leading to a pit every lap situation.

How long do they take to recover stregth ?

Much longer then it does to expend it.

I start my lowest drivers and finish up with my best driver. By the time all 3 rookies have finished, my best BOB starts. He runs almost 2x as long as the others and by the time he pits back to rookie #1, rookie #1 is only around half.

Don't make the same mistake I did and set it to 50%... after a while they were going to the pits every lap! WTF! From now on I set it to OFF.

My Bobs are still driving great and posting good lap times even after their strength is fully depleted. Let them pit when they need fuel or tires.
