Pit stops ...

Hey guys, I have a question. I have a way to handle pit stops, I avoid them as much as possible. In the professional league I only drive with super-slicks, if its a 10 or 15 lap race, I try not to pit, and ride it out. 20 laps, I pit halfway.

So far its worked fine, I've been having no problems with the pitting and slow lap times. I've gotten used to the way the super slicks handle. I guess if I slapped some T4/T3's on, it will be a change like driving on dirt to driving on road.

Am I right to do this or should i change my habits ?

Usually, I try to minimize stops as well. Always calculate the number of stops you'll need and space them evenly.

Sometimes, though, I have been know to follow the AI pit schedule just to add challenge.

Yeah, you can do this. It's a guaranteed way not to pit as often because some of those Ai cars are on softer tires than the super-hards you're using.

Personally, I used to use softer tires (even sports!) just because it's more fun (and challenging) if you wind up taking pit-stops with the Ai. Rome and Seattle are 2 of the enduros I remember doing this at.
