pit stops?

altough i was about to win the race, i realized that i havent seen pit stop field and that process. i got back (in seattle) after the last chicane then checked if something cool(!) happens. and yesss! nothing happened. anyone tried to race for 99 laps or somthng?

What do you mean nothing happened?

Were you able to drive through at full speed? or did the car autopilot at low speed through it?

when you enter in pits the car slows down and autopilot drives the car and nothing more happens, no stop, no refueling or tires changing.

Instead of a penalty, the game takes over at slow speed. Still, it's a nice feature, that could be used to imitate pitstops if you play an online endurance race.
