Just a quick question....Will my driver pit-stop automatically or do I need to come back and tell him to? I don't want to have to come back every once in a while to click Pit-Stop.

Not if they are racing the ring. The ring is long enough to cause problems for the Drivers AI
Now some times they want to do 3 laps other times they will pit after 2 laps... some cars can get away with 4 laps. Tire choice on the ring is now very important in non Xseries cars..

This x 10.

I'm in the middle of the B-Spec 'Ring 4 hour enduro, and I absolutely have to tell my Bobs to pit in on the third lap. I'm using the Amuse S2K GT1 on RH, since they're not so worn that they need to pit at the end of the 3rd lap they don't, but 3/4 into the 4th lap the rear tires are gone.

More amusing though is to see how the AI wasn't reprogrammed to take the new tire wear rate into consideration. Since the AI uses RMs but doesn't pit at the end of the 2nd lap, halfway through the 3rd most of the RWD cars got nothing left in the rears.

But watch out Some of the AI will switch to pitting after 2 laps untill they give up trying to get the lead back and go pace green for nearly the hole lap, So a side effect of AI going pace red a lot, is that they will pit stop correctly.

Interesting, although I didn't see it happen with the AI on that particular attempt on the 4 hours, most of them seem to stick with their preset schedule. Granted I was namely focusing on an R8 LMS that could have threatened for the lead. That one kept pitting at the end of the 3rd lap even though it would have nothing on the rears coming up to Wipperman.

Also Rain Will smeg every thing up.
As your drivers will pit out of sequence.
This can lead to 4 extra short stints untill it loops round to the correct driver again.
rain tires last longer than Racing so you will be pitting WAY to early even on the ring.
