I chose to make an iMac today, because I really like the design.

Basically, I started with a picture, I erased all the details and just left a very, very basic outline of the computer. From there I shaded it, pixel-by-pixel. Everything, but the desktop and reflection, is done in MS Paint.

I'm pretty damn impressed with the end product, I didn't expect it to look too good at all. I was going to do a pixelated background, but I felt that it would ruin the photo realistic look.

Enjoy!

No... I don't mean blow it up literally you twit, I mean make it bigger to 1024x768 THEN see how good it looks.

Approximately how many hours did this take?

Probably less than one hour. I guess I'm quite experienced with drawing in paint, so I can shade pretty quickly especially with decent reference. If I started from scratch, rather than using the outline of a picture it deffinatly would've taken a bit longer.
