Hello everyone.

I'm PJ and you may remember some of my work from Forza Motorsport 4 , Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon 3. I focus on original race designs and primarily paint the cars that I use most on-track.

All Paints, Vinyl Groups and anything else I share can be found by looking up my Gamertag or with the keyword PJT.

If you're downloading a livery you will need to do the following:
  • If you don't own the car, buy it and you can search for the design before you complete the purchase.
  • If you already own the car head to your Garage, get into the car, then head to Paint & Customise, followed by Find Designs.

---------

Real name PJ Tierney, I was a freelance designer and illustrator before joining Konami Europe full-time in 2013 to work in Community Management. When I moved from Ireland to the UK for the job the only luxury items in my baggage at the time were my Xbox 360 and a copy of Forza Motorsport 4.

My primary line of work focuses on updating and developing the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME's official webpages for Europe & Oceania, as well as the game's official Twitch, Facebook and YouTube Channels. I also head up the co-ordination of European event coverage team helping to provide fans of the game with top-level event coverage several times a year.

As mentioned above I joined the company in 2013 and before that was a freelance designer and illustrator, focusing primarily on motorsport-themed artwork. I'm probably most well-known in that regard for my Formula 1 Posters, as well as the Pocket Liveries blog, a collection of minimal mobile phone wallpapers based on famous racing designs. I've worked with people from Red Bull Racing and Top Gear Magazine and have had my work featured by various publications and websites over the past few years. I still create new projects when I have the time to do so, but as you can imagine I am very busy these days and don't always have an opportunity to put the hours in to creating something from scratch.

For me the Forza series has always been the perfect combination of my 2 main interests: creative work and motorsport. My first Forza title was Forza Motorsport 2 but I didn't get heavily involved in the series until Forza Motorsport 4, when I pushed myself to become a better livery painter, tuner and racer. As a racer I am very competitive, and focus on being fast and clean, while also intending to be a formidable opponent in online lobbies. I have raced competitively in the past on numerous websites, culminating in over 300 organised races and 3 Realish Racing Drivers' Championship titles.

If you want to take on my Drivatar or simply make it easier to find my designs feel free to follow my Gamertag; I look forward to seeing you all out on track. When I do race online it is primarily in the Multiplayer Hoppers, you are welcome to join at any time.

Any logos or Vinyl Groups that I create of a high enough standard to be shared can also be found by using the keyword PJT or my Gamertag. Feel free to download them for your own cars, or trace them so that you have your own unlocked versions. Each logo has been extensively researched so as to match the real logo's colours and dimensions as best as possible. I have also written a guide on my creation method.

We don't have a paint forum (*pokes @Jordan *) and I've got too many designs for the general thread so I'll stick them all here for now.

Hopefully some of the images aren't broken for you guys, GTP often goes funky when several images are hotlinked.

Man.. these are amazing. I haven't really bothered with the paint shop since FM4, but I remember making some great liveries - although they were all done the hard way (no template, as close as I could get while looking back and forth at a reference photo).

The quality of your work is really inspiring me to get stuck in again. Fantastic stuff

Thanks for the kind words :)

Forza’s editor requires a lot of time and patience, especially for logos.

If you’re getting Gran Turismo Sport I recommend checking out that game’s livery editor. The one advantage it has over Forza is that it has hundreds of manufacturer decals, which makes the most time consuming part of the process a breeze. I am eager to try it myself.

This is the first GT I am not going to buy. I am a 99% offline single player erm... player. I like the career mode in these games and given GT:S's career mode is virtually non-existent, it would be a waste of money for me.
It's kind of ironic too because they've finally added a livery editor that I would love to use, but I'm not buying the game simply for that :D

I don't mind though. I do enjoy the satisfaction of creating a manufacturer decal from scratch.

Fair enough. I’m getting it because I am a 99% Multiplayer erm... player

I'm certainly curious to see what liveries you come up with though. Your work is already exceptional, and seeing as you'll have countless manufacturer decals at your disposal from the off... that's a lot of time to be spent making base designs.

We'll see soon enough. I probably won't take it as seriously as I do in Forza but I'll certainly play around with it.

I've got a list of cars I want to do already, but if I have some room afterwards I may have a go at these.

All part of my plan ;)

I aim to get a good Paint for each of the Spec cars as I know that many people will have to buy them. The Polaris already has 700 downloads and it’s only been up a week.

Side note: The Ford is designed in such a way that no matter what nose/wing combination you go with the design will never “break” nor would any logos get obscured. Almost every Paint I have seen for that car is designed for the default nose and falls apart when you swap it out for the wingless one.

PJ, you got any designs planned for the SUV's? I'm going to start that series next in my LP.

The plan right now is to do all of the Spec Division cars, and then after that see what I want to do. I'm getting about 1 a week done on average, as I only paint on the weekends.

I might do what I ended up doing for Forza Horizon 3 which is to paint any car that people will have to buy for #Forzathon.

I'm already getting quite a few downloads every day, in fact after coming back from 3 days of gran Turismo Sport I had a notification that I earned over 1,000,000 CR from my designs :)

This one was tricky as a significant portion of the car is unpaintable. The rollcage was paintable in Forza Horizon 3 but that was fixed in the Forza Motorsport 7 version of the car.

So I made the most of it, and used the cage as the base for the design. The cage is "made of wood" and Husqvarna make chainsaws ;)

Kodack is still in Business? That's surprising.

So All I have to do is search you up on FM7, and I can DL a livery? Or do I have to fight for one in the Auction House?
