Platinum Trophy

Hi all. I'm a long time lurker and first time poster so go easy on me

I have some question about the Platinum Trophy.

I am only a few hundred miles away from achieving this but was wondering what will happen when the promised features are added?

For example, in GT5 there were trophies awarded for B-Spec achievements and car damage. If these features are added at a later date, could PD edit the trophy list to include new achievements or is the current list of achievements final?

And, if they are added, do you lose the Platinum Trophy you have already achieved?

And also, just want to add that i love this site and keep up the good work 👍

Well no new trophies were added when the Vettel events or just Red Bull events as a whole were added so there's no chance that the platinum you have now will be taken off you and the goalposts moved in another 3 months time.

Welcome lurker!

They never change the initial trophy-set leading up to your platinum, but through DLC they can extend the number of achievable trophies, so they could only lower your "completed trophies percentage" in the game to a lower percentage (having you achieve those extra DLC trophies to get it to 100% again), but your earned Platinum stays in place, like @iainoflo85 said.

I'm sure i read that GT5 had B-Spec added after release and was just concerned it would effect my PSN trophies!!!

No, B-spec was in GT5 from the beginning.
