Hi All , I'm a long-time GT/console player who got into PC racing 5 months ago. I'm putting together a group for fans of driving/racing games. The plan is to hold regular events, leagues and challenges. We're just starting and there's only a handful of us at the moment so we're trying to grow our numbers.

Maybe I'm confused. This is the Assetto Corsa Forum so I assume you're talking about using the Audi TT car ripped from Copa Petrobas in Assetto Corsa correct? Or maybe this is an original creation? Some sim racers, me included, would prefer not to use content stolen from other games without compensation or permission from the creator. Other people aren't bothered by it.

I'm not sure which site we got the Petrobras cars from but there are a few of them such as ACModHub and Race Dept.

I've had AC for a couple of months and started downloading mods a few weeks ago. I didn't know there was a problem with legal and stolen content. I definitely wouldn't make a poster displaying use of illegal content if I knew about it!! This could be a big issue. As I said, I don't want to cause or get into trouble. So the question is - how do I know if I'm installing legal or stolen content? I'm speaking as a PC gaming newbie. Cheers.

Not sure about the legalities of your proposed mods. I am new to multi player PC based racing games. I played GTR and rFactor games. I just purchased Assetto Corsa yesterday. And of course it will not start after I installed it.
But once you sort out the legal part, I will be happy to join you and your mates if you'll have me.

I am in the US, so I'm not sure the time difference. Also, Johnnypenso is a good guy. He would not lead your wrong.

It seems to be a legit mod. What's confusing is you have a banner for a completely different game in your OP, Copa Petrobras de Marcss from Reiza Studios.

There's two different mods here. The Audi is scratch made and legit.

Stick to mods found on the official forum and Race Department and you should be fine.

Yes, sorry my post wasn't clear. We ran both the Petrobras and TT mods - I should've put photo of TT too . Thanks, I didn't know about this stuff before.
