Playseat challenge lock

Playseat challenge owners. Anyone had any issues with the “lock”. Mines has failed so to speak. It still locks but is really loose and therefor the wheel is unstable and moves around a lot. so looking for any help or inspiration on how to make it more sturdy to keep the wheel stable. Thanks in advance.

Mine does the same. The lock is at its tightest when it’s at an angle, 45ish degrees. Maybe try that.

The inner plastic bit over time has started to shear... here’s a pic. Not the greatest but hope you can see what I mean.

Is it still under warranty? Is it replacable? I know you can order replacement parts.

Yeah still under warranty. Contacted playseat and as I bought direct from them they are sending out a replacement part asap.
Very good of them tbh.

Yeah I once broke the velcro strap that holds the rig when the wheel is folded. I got sent a whole new pack of velcro straps and screws very quickly. Really appreciated the service.

Over time, the Playseat Challenge will loose some of it's lock and tightness. That's why after over a year, I simply purchased a new one, cause it had quite some heavy duty

So today two new “lock inserts” dropped through my door. Great service by playseat I must say.
