Obviously the Playseat Evolution wins overall when you have a G25 and your going to play GT5 and some other high quality racing games... BUT

PLAYSEAT CLASSIC on Amazon on sale for $159.99

VS

Playseat Evolution on eBay for $240.00

now what I want to know is people opinion from those whom have playseats and know about it and its feel ect. if it would be worth investing those extra bucks to get the evolution or if i should just settle for the Classic because the Evo is not all that. I have seen people who have made the Classic really nice.

1) Their home made gear shift holder
2) G25 Pedal fit plate

and even with the money for that material it came out less.

now please i want somebody's opinion and let me know if i should save myself that work and just spend the extra bucks.....or.... save the extra bucks

Looks like the $159 price is from an affiliate and not Amazon, and is $32 for shipping vs. $192 and free shipping from Amazon. I'd go with 'sold by Amazon' in case you have issues or need to return/exchange.

I have the Evo. In my research I read the classic had lot of wobble from the steering platform. The Evo has a vertical post that makes it very stable. The down side is that you have a post between your legs. You can move the pedal deck around and setup for either left or right foot braking. It doesn't get in my way and doesn't bother me, I'd prefer to have the classic if it was rock solid though.

If you stabilize the wheel bar on the Classic it´s almost as good. You can adapt the driving position a bit more on the Evo though. But the problem with the Classic is mainly the really wobbly main column. The seat is actually better since it´s not leather. The padding is thinner and get worn down more quickly but is still comfortable so it´s no biggie really.

I can't speak to the classic but I find the Evolution almost flawless with the g25. The ONLY thing I would change is the adjustment method which scratches up the paint when you tighten everything. It is extremely sturdy, and while I worried about the center post I have never even noticed it when racing and I do use the clutch. I actually like it because it gives me some "location" value when moving my right foot quickly between breaking and the gas. There is some metal flex, but it is not noticeable when racing and no wobble. It is a really good balance of light weight yet still being sturdy.

If it were me I would go with the evolution or get the new WRC version that has been on ebay for under 400.
