Playseat rookie

Hello guys, would like to know your opinions, specially those who own a playseat evolution...what do you think about this new entry model ???, anybody has already used it ???...

Judging from the official pics, it looks amazing, the position is clearly like in a F1, and seems to be more practical to remove than a playseat evolution..

I have send an email to Playseat, asking them if its compatible with the g25, as it will also need the shifter extension just as in the playseat evolution.....so this is probably the main thing that is stopping me from ordering one for July.

If this is not possible, could there be other alternatives to use the shifter in the g25 ?....Also do you think pedals will fit in the playseat rookie ?????

Or is it better to go just for the evolution version, and pay an extra 100€ more or less.

thanks in advice !

Already available to order for July delivery, but still no response from them, regarding the g25 question.

While I certainly wish I had the space and money for a Playseat or Obutto, I certainly wouldn't want to acquire that one. Looks like it's going to be painful after a while of using it, since you're sitting so close to the ground.

that is a good and helpfull point of view, may be its too uncomfortable once you use it for more than 1 hour....

Also, apart of my main concern about the compatibility with the g25 shifter, will the playseat rookie shake a lot, it seems the base where the steering wheel is installed, is too thin.......I don't know.

But for 230€, seems to be a good price.....Lets see if any guru can resolve me the problem of the g25 compatibility.

thanks again

Being an entry level model and after a quick look, I don't see any place where a G25 shifter mount could be attached. As for the mounting of the wheel itself, I'm sure it can fit. There are reports of regular Playseats being a bit shaky when doing certain driving maneuvers. I can only assume that because of it being a cheaper model and because the structure looks a little bit thinner that shakyness may be a bigger issue on this model.
