When will sky have the problem fixed with the playstation network.

I don't know and I doubt anyone here knows, without you giving any details of your problem. I recommend you try asking SKY. Also this should not be in the GT5p forum.

I play gt with the playstation network. I was on about the problem that all sky users are having with the playstation network. Mellow out.

Are you still having the same problem? I remember trying to help you out about a month or so ago on your other forum. My internet connection is fine now and hardly ever fails. It must be in certain regions that it fails in

For that reason alone, this does not have to do with GT5P therefore it does not belong in this particular thread. ASH32 was simply reminding you and even offered a suggestion.

Okay... Let's go through a series of troubleshooting questions...

Question 1 - Are we Sky? No - so we don't know.

Actually, that pretty much covers it.

The issue with Sky only affects Sky customers - and Sky are a British company. This website is not exclusively visited by British people. In fact far from it - Brits may only be the 3rd or 4th most common nationalities here at GTP. So it's not reasonable to assume that everyone here knows what you're talking about. Furthermore this isn't a fault with GT5P - the issue affects PSN as a whole - and so this thread doesn't belong in this forum.

So we're looking at a thread which doesn't belong here and makes incorrect assumptions asking a question no-one can answer.

Now, as it happens, I actually know what the issue is. The problem is that Sky Connect - and only Sky Connect - throttles P2P connections and this causes problems when trying to connect to PSN in the first instance (and many games are also P2P in nature). Sky have said they're aware of the issue and have installed a temporary patch to stop this from happening with mind to a more permanent solution. As for when they'll do this... Ask them.
