PLEASE HELP! Historic Cup B-Spec

So I woke my son up last night when I yelled at Bob for being such a dip**** driver. At what level do they stop panicking in traffic?

So here's my questions.
Is there a good tune out there for the 2J? I'm looking for fast in/out of the corners. Decent staightaway speeds. Bob crawls through the corners, it's painful to watch. How is the "AI" driver so "god like" on this track?

Or is there a better car to use? I have the toyota 7, 2J, XJ13. I used the Toyota for the first race got gold. But it's useless on Cote D'Azur.

Please give me something to work with. Before I throw a brick at my tv!

I used the Toyota 7 and just kept restarting until the ai 2j started in last place. It was rough to say the least. Bob sucks

I have no luck with backing out and back in. 2J always comes back in front of me. And sometimes even one or two more.

are you having problems with Cote?

I lowered the top speed to ~168 and my 2J gets off the corners like a rocket. I dont think I changed too much else to beat it in and and b spec....

Oh man, Cote is eating at me! I think I've lowered my top end. Can't remember to what though.

Do you think the 330 race car could do it? Or even the ford GT? They appear to handle well in the turns, and they're hard to catch on the straights.

I used the Toyota 7, slapped a big turbo and the grippiest tyres allowed on it, maxed the downforce and B-Spec tore up the championship. My driver was level 23 at the time I think.

For A-spec I used an RM Challenger, but B-Spec cant drive it like I can so he couldnt win with that.

I lowerd the top end on the 2j i think to 180 something, and paced him up and he finally passed the other 2j and walked away from him. only two tries thankfully! Other than that, i didn't do anything setup wise o nthe 2j

Ya, I tore it up with the Challanger myself too.
Bobs an idiot! He's only a lvl 17. That's proly reason #1. But I'll try dropping top speed. Did you guys do any LSD Adjustments? I find he breaks loose alot.

You guys are awesome! I won d'Azur easy after setting my tranny to 168. My LSD to default.

Won by 8 seconds. Was in second by the third lap. In 1st at 4. And just pushed on.

i had tried aspec with the mark 4, rm 69 camaro, miura, countach, before I finally squeaked it out with the 7, then in bspec the best the 7 got was 2nd in cote. got the 2J and granted my bob was level 30 or 31, he flogged the other cars but like 18 sec to take the gold....

I used the Ferrari with stock turbo. My level 20 (at the time) Bob couldn't win with a fatter turbo for some reason. Won it with a lot of babysitting. The 2J crashed twice that I know of, since Bob passed him during a crash, then the 2J passed Bob, but crashed in the same spot again on the last lap. Sometimes a little luck helps. Also, my "nuetral" Bob couldn't win either race, but my far to the right RED Bob did much better.

I used the 7 in B Spec and was getting like 6th and later 2nd. Kept at it with my best driver and he won finally.
