Please help me find the name of this filter

Can somebody please do me a huge favor and let me know what a filter or edit like this would be called? I do not know very much about photo editing so I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge but it would be a huge help if someone could throw a couple key words at me to what I should be looking for when searching...... thanks a whole lot for any help

When you say filter are you referring to the colour processing or the fading/transparency on it?

mostly the fading transparency on it maybe a little of the color too

I'd say you're looking at an image that's had multiple effects applied.

Overall the first is a Curves filter that alters the colour/white levels, the second is an offset partially-opaque layer cloned from the first (as you can probably see).

Use your favourite search engine to find guides on post-processing with curves, you'll find lots of examples and good settings that you can save into Photoshop or whatever you're using.
