Please Help!

Guys- I have a question. I am in the middle of the F1 championship (have won the first 5 races). I want to go on to start working on this Time Trials race, but it keeps putting me back to my saved game.

If I exit the saved game I lose the first 5 races, and they are LONG....

If I reboot the PS2 without the memory card, then I will not be able to save my times in Time Trials mode, and I won't have the memory card to back up my times.

Is there any way around this? PLEASE HELP!

Thanks..... in advance!

Have you tried saving your game then going and doing your Time Trials? I dont understand why it would take you back though.

Last time I played, I was mid way through the F1 battle. I saved the game and shut it off. Now I want to turn the thing back on and play in Arcade mode with the Time Trials, but when I turn the PS2 on, it loads the saved game and goes straight to Simulation mode. Then I need to exit the F1 series to go to Time Trial. Now if I save it, I've lost my saved F1 championship game.... Does that make sense?

Thats odd and has never happend to me before. Try taking the mem card out then turn on the PS2 then go to arcade then after your done put in your mem card go to the title screen then save. Maybe that will work. :D

yo man the best advice is to finish the championship you are on , you cant have your cake and eat it man , the game was saved you go back to that part , it wont take long to finish it man then do the time trials ;)

But that will save over everything.... and I'll lose all my progress. :-(

That championship will take at least 5 more hours to finish!!!

Finish the championship, no matter how long it takes. Rewards a whole lot better than quitting it and doing time trial. Take it or leave it man.

Here's the deal and it works, and I know exactly what your talking about.

  1. Start game and exit championship
  2. Goto archade and do your Time Trials.
  3. Save your REPLAYS not the game itself.
  4. Under no circumstance, should you save your game duing this operation
    [/list=1]

GT3 saves game data seperately from Replay data. In doing this, just reset your PS2 and your off and running again in your championship.

Note: Your TT record times will no be saved, but you will be able to access your best lap times from your replays.

    Good luck and good racing..
