Theme: "Start up"

Take a photo in the start line when a race is going to begin, or in the fisrt moments after the begining.

Entry requirements

• You may submit one entry. It must be your own work not previously entered in a competition.
• Please mark your Final Entry clearly.
• You must post your entry either as a thumbnail, or as a preview linked to the full image.
• Previews should be no larger than 400 pixels along the longest side, be it vertical or horizontal.
• We recommend you use a free image hosting service such as or
• Photos must be taken from a normal version of GT4, do not use any cheats or Game Shark codes to modify the game content.
• Please do not ask other members to choose your entry. Have confidence in your own skills and go with your favourite shot(s).

Image enhancement rules
(what you can and can't do in Photoshop etc.)

• You may adjust brightness, contrast and gamma values.
• You may rotate, crop and resize the image.
• You may add a border and signature to your entry.
• You may NOT adjust levels, hue, saturation, curves or sharpen the image.
• You may NOT use filters, blurs or layers on your entry.
• You may NOT add any elements to the original photo.

I suppose so, it doesn't say anything about that, so I'm guessing as long as it's on the start line it's ok.

Next time I win I think I'm going to ask alex for a theme suggestion, he always comes up with some really original ideas! I'm getting started on this right away. 👍

Mmm, rolling start is allowed then. You can photograph the cars waiting in the grid thought. But remember, the photo must be taken when starting a race, not crossing the line in any lap after the start up.

Do Nurb. quickly put the camera to irst car and snap, before the first car hits that corner.

I took about 6 of different angles, but this one stood out from the rest the moment I edited it.

Beerz is serious. That kind of photos doens't need 2.0 rules, only color balance maight be set up a bit, the rest is perfect for me. I have to love it!!
