Is it just me or does anyone else find it a bit rubbish that only the winner gets any recognition at the end?
Don't get me wrong I'm a firm believer that 2nd is just the first loser, but in all real world motorsports and any racing sport in general the top 3,and sometimes top 5, all get to stand on the podium and gloat.
Sort it out PD, only showing the winner sucks.

In some small way it probably adds fuel to last lap over aggressiveness too.

Yeah it'd be kind of nice to see 2nd and 3rd place drivers on the podium, I agree.

Agreed. In real life racing, all podium finishers get recognition, should be in the game as well

I think podiums should be recorded in your lifetime stats also.

So I'm all for it, seeing as gt sport has buried gt tradition in every other way. Might as well get some good from it!

If pd care so much about clean racing, they should give recognition to 2nd and 3rd places as well.

That may be true to some extent, but achieving a top 3 position in fields of 20 cars is still something to be recognised to some extent. I've had some great races where I've come 3rd or even 4th against guys who are ranked higher than I am and the drivers finishing ahead are just too good to catch, yet those results are not recorded anywhere in my driver history...

Recognising top 3 and top 5 finishes in our records would be nice to see.

I'll copy and paste what i said on my thread about this.

Plus we have the best livery editor out there, and theres not much you can do to see other people work or yours up close.

I would prefer to be able to pull up lap times for the races including the split times so I can compare where on a circuit I need to improve and where I am doing well on average. If this was available I feel this would be more beneficial than adding in podium finishes.
As far as I know I cannot even go back and look at my own lap times after the race much less the lap times of anyone else.

Couldn't agree more, First race I did in sport mode was the 10 Laps of Brands hatch, Got zero recognition for the trouble.

I've been there & for me I save the replay so I have a record of the good race that I was a participant in.
