I read an article about Polestar having a design contest in cooperation with Hot Wheels. Imagine having this as a VGT in Gran Turismo. I wouldn’t mind. The pic attached is 2nd place but it looks better than the one that won.

Note: I didn’t read it all. I skimmed it.

Which is literally the automotive industry today.

Boooriiiiing.
I fell in that trap.

Owned a few model years of Skyline’s little sister(Primera/G20), then an X-Trail(the last "true" offroader bearing this name, predecessor to the Rouge) because I wanted something practical and smoother to drive. Then I sold it to get a Datsun 260Z, which I again sold when my first som was born. Borrowed moms Rav4 and later Outlander for a while before I had the economy to buy the X-Trail back when I got my second kid.

Still have it, and even though I miss owning a Datsun or a Primera project, I wouldn’t trade it. I love my X-Trail.
Excellent mileage even though it has 4x4 and is a SUV, spaceous, comfy ride, better audio in the generic speakers than those cars with Bose and Rockford Fosgate + sub. Everything about this car makes me smile, such a fun car to drive, and play around with.

If my economy ever allows it I’m probably gonna give it better brakes, lower it and stiffen it up just a tiny bit, and maybe a few mild performance mods so I can track it.
I want to live up to the words my dad said when I was a kid when we played GT2, "it’s not the car that wins the race, it’s the driver".

I wanna crush noobs who thinks all they need is power and forget their brakes. (Like my father in-law. When he owned a Chrysler Pacifica, all he wanted was to slap in a beefy AMG engine, and didn’t think better stopping power or other mods were needed. :dopey:)

Agreed. Wonder why that one won, though.
It's a modern EV take on the classic Dodge Deora concept car and Hot Wheels Deora 2 toy car. The original Deora was actually designed by Hot Wheels and turned into a real show car. They call this the Polestar TRX which I guess is a play on Dodge but I wish they woud've called it the Deora 3.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Even to the point I fed in ''Futuristic Volvo Polestar Deora 2'' to an AI image creator (Deep AI) to see if it would spit that car out.

Similar, but needed a few more parameters I think.
