The protest seemed to be pretty peaceful, and I find it absolutely sick that there were children among the wounded. Hopefully all of those who were hurt make a recovery.

P.S. If you read the story, there's no mention of the protest being violent, the only violence was on the past of the police. Reading comprehension doesn't seem to be your strong point, though.
