If you've played GT3, you should recognize Complex String a sort of a "test track" with a variety of different corners. However, some see it as just testing to see if the PS2 could handle longer curses like the nurburgring. SO what do you think?

I think it was OK, but has been superseded by such tracks as the Nordshliefe and Cape Ring. Whilst it would make an interesting test track, in my opinion the Nurburgring serves the same purpose.

I have no idea what it is but I voted yes.

Complex String was basically a Nurburgring test course with slaloms , hills , turns , etc You could get around in about 3 - 4 minutes in a 787B if you cut corners

Complex String was a VERY complex course, as the name implies. Here is a map of it:

3-4 corners of the complex string have been "copy and pasted" from Twin Ring Motegi
Im sorry I loved the string on GT3 and would "like" to see it in GT5 but is it worth paying for?

I'd love to see it return with the same layout, but with a bit more scenery. There wasn't much around the course, if memory serves.

You think the Cape Ring is a good track for testing? :scared:

Anyway, as an avid (GT5) driver of the Nordschleife, I think it is great, (especially for testing) but I still think the Complex String is quite a fun track! You can't compare it to the Nurburgring though because it's obvious that the CS is a track that doesn't really take itself seriously.

I'd love to see it in GT6, imagine a 16+ player online race there! Just take it for what it is. A fun, quite unconventional track that shouldn't be taken as seriously as the Nordschleife, per say.

Because I didn't like it, quite simple really.

Just because you don't like a track doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the next installment! I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion however.

I mean I don't like all of the tracks in GT5 (Cape Ring & tSUKuba 👎 👎 👎) But it doesn't mean they don't have a place in the game.
