Good job everyone! 108 pictures by 27 people. Good entries by all!

Now, the way I specifically structured this so that anyone can win the poll. go ahead and vote!

PLEASE don't vote for your own picture. This is a public poll so if you do decide to vote for your own picture, I hope some alert GTP citizen will publicly ostracize you

This i my first time posting a picture poll, so I hope I get it right...

There will be variations, like for instance one week I may decide to have you guys pair up a muscle car with something completely opposite.

I dont understand... a Ford GT?? Muscle car?? I thought that only applied to 60's/70's USA cars with big front engines and 2-door coupe styling. Unless I am hopelessly mistaken. Anyway, frontal shot in b&w gets my vote - thats a true muscle car photo imo.

I understand it isn't a muscle car, but plenty of people posted pics with it and since it is American with a powerful V8, I let it in.

Tough comp, g'luck to everyone that made it.
On a side note. I think i'm in love with the 'Cuda now.

The rules were very loose to try to get more entries :) Mostly it was "American car with a V8" :) The 300C is more of a muscle car than the GT or Vette, I don't see why it couldn't have been entered :)

Yeah, but the 300C doesn't look like a muscle car though, it just looks like a big luxury sedan.

damn,i voted for my own pic by mistake-i meant to vote for the flying mustang

I guess I can believe that since they are right next to each other.

440, the public seems to like your picture best so far 👍

I probably would have let in the 300C. Not this week though :P

Well the Ford GT looks like a supercar, and the 300C is still smaller than most of the old musclecars :D Anyway.....

Looks like orange Superbirds are the way to go. They're in 1st and 2nd! 💡

A Muscle car doesn't have to be from the 60's/70's era have a big front mounted engine and only have two doors. Although most muscle cars have these atributes. One example of this is the Ford GT. But here in OZ we have four dour 2005 model Muscle cars. eg. the ford BA falcon GT 2005 model.

To be a Muscle car has to have a certain character, a certain style and plenty of balls. It also helps that the isn't from asia, and has a V8. The V8 doesn't have to be Big. For instance the early mustang had a 289 cubic inch V8. Thats not even half a 7-Litre monster that some muscle cars are.

That's basically my working definition. :) Although, I will allow the Japanese copycats.
