I despise pop groups. They've cheapened the music industry. While I have to say that it has allowed the music industry's market to increase, all of these mass-produced girl/boybands makes me vomit. The Spice Girls are no exception.

The Spice Girls were perhaps one of the most important "Girl Groups" of the past two decades. Love them or hate them, they brought a stylish sensibility to the Girl Band scene, and, despite a total lack of musical talent ( ), their songs were well-polished, well-produced and memorable.

I dare you to think of "Wannabe" without getting the bass-line stuck in your head. Yeah... that's right.

Unfortunately for those with musical taste, simple songs with catchy riffs and lyrics will long outlast more technically and lyrically complex work.
