On this year's RM Sotheby's Retromobile week, six vintage and retro Lamborghini performance machines will be auctioned, which is a pretty rare occurrence. The million dollar question is, out of below options, which would you pick, and why?

1. 1967 400GT 2+2, to sell for $540-600k.

My pick is the '91 Countach. This was a very thought-demanding choice for me to make since all of these Lamborghinis have their own unique charm to them. The verdict is, the Countach is the right blend of style and substance. It may not be the fastest or most valuable Lambo of the six, but I've always found it's angular, wedge-shaped styling to be pleasing to the eye, and it's 455hp V12 makes a wonderful sound.

Disregard the mistake in the poll. It says "1965 400GT", when it should say 1967.

I remember not even 10 years ago seeing Jalpas and Espadas going for sub-50k. Granted would’ve been around recession time, but still crazy to see how the prices have risen so much in a rather short timespan.

Edit: I voted for the Diablo but that was before I looked at the pictures. I’d probably go for the Countach or the Jalpa. I was thinking it was the SV Diablo which is my all time favourite Lambo. In yellow or blue with the big SV lettering down the sides:drool:

But I agree the styling of the 25th Anniversary Countach is always a classic. And the Jalpa has always been my favourite outside of the V12 Family Tree.

Actually they’re all my favourite, they’re Lamborghinis:D

400GT by a good margin from the Japla, and by miles from any of the others. The 400 isn't in the same league as some Ferrari's from that period, but it's still one of the nicest Lambo's. Always had a bit of a soft spot for the Japla, but still 2nd for me.

Espada's are pig ugly, and the Jarama isn't a whole lot better. The anniversary Countach is the ugliest of the line - early cars are so much prettier. And the Diablo is a typical Lambo - all engine and no handling.

Sotheby's got the year wrong on the Countach, it's actually a 1990 since there wasn't a 1991 model year for them. However it wasn't delivered to the owner until '91.

It was awfully tough for me to pick between the Diablo and the Countach, they're both so pretty, but in the end my heart picks the Countach.

I've always adored the smooth looks of the Espada, thus is my pick.
