THIS FORTNIGHT'S THEME

This week, you won't have the choice of the car. Last winner @Cytoria set this theme, let's hear what he has to say :

For the first time, the LEC will feature an unique mandatory car. With all the hype around it, the special relation of Gran Turismo and Toyota and the GR Cup just launched, what better car to do this step than the brand new Supra ? I bet most of you already made a custom livery for the event, so it's time to show them. And if you don't race, it may be the occasion to share your livery for a quick racer which will take it to the top of the races!

CARS :
- Toyota GR Supra RZ '19 only.

LIVERIES :
- Original designs are highly encouraged.
- Replicas are allowed, except 3 :
- Castrol Supra GT '96 livery
- Camouflaged A90 prototype livery
- Gazoo Racing launch livery

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS :
- The car must be Sport Mode compatible (the GR Cup plate is almost the same size as the Type 1 plate, so I recommend using this one).
- Even if the car is your "personal" livery for the event, you must be ready to share it if needed.

BONUS PICTURES SETTINGS :
- No Restrictions.

USER MADE DECALS :
- Allowed.

My first selection reduces my choices to 17(!) cars, then 11, then 6.

My favorites are :
#5 @teensonacid for the simplicity and clean yet bold look with the touch of pink but not too much.
#11 @Slender_Man because the camo pattern mixes well with the Advan iconic lines.
#12 @autonomous Tiger car. The special orange colour of the base just gives it a fantastic look.
#17 @PrinsvOranje IMSA. Lines are clean and simple just like the original model.
#24 @KK78 for the fun and colorful design, yet easy to read and understand.
#29 @2clicks once again for the clean execution, the metallic blue base colour and the details in the decals.

Out of these, I really couldn’t decide so I stopped my mind and objectively picked the original designs over the replicas/inspired in the spirit of the competition creativity.

#5, #24 and #29 are my final choices.

Sorry about the pictures @Cytoria, I tried reshooting them and they came out the same (I didn't realise I could move the car further back and zoom in, whoops) and I forgot to try again after Wednesday's FIA races

In no particular order: #2 for choosing to replicate a BTCC legend, #11 for complexity and execution and #24 as it's fun and actually more like the kind of livery you'd expect to see in this sort of championship in the real world (see 86/BRZ Race liveries).

After a lot of thinking, narrowing down and excluding, I eventually went for 4, 10 and 24. though there's a lot more I would've wanted to vote for...almost every livery, in my opinion, deserves to win this time, a huge variety of styles and a very high level.

And I got 4 votes? What? Really, thanks a lot guys, I thought it was going to be a zero, considering the competition. What a good way to come back to the LEC! :cheers:
