THIS FORTNIGHT'S THEME

This week, we are going wild. Last winner @Raphaele set this theme, let's hear what he has to say :

The intention of this theme is not to cover pure competition cars. Let’s go with show cars, art cars and promotion vehicles. Visit your garage and select a car with an animalistic expression. Use any shapes and decals – in-game and own creations – that fit this intention and wrap the car in a livery that fits the respective animal. You also may come up with a message (e.g. »Save Wildlife«) if you like. It's up to you.

I don’t want to see race numbers or sponsor decals as long as they don’t have any animalistic reference. I do prefer cars with an animal in the model name or manufacturer name (e.g. Cobra, Mustang, Jaguar) or manufacturer logo (e.g. Ferrari, Lamborghini). But that’s not a requirement for your entry, just an appreciated option.


CARS :
- No restrictions.

LIVERIES :
-Any with an animalistic inspiration.

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS :
- No typical competition liveries.
- Feel completely free.


BONUS PICTURES SETTINGS :
- Up to three bonus pictures
- One must show the animal-car in a fitting natural environment (forest, beach, water, mountains, desert, ice/snow, jungle etc.).

USER MADE DECALS :
- Allowed.

#2 and #13 for me, both cleverly using the car's shapes to their advantage.

#11 is a cracking livery, but it's too much of a race car and doesn't really fit with the theme.
 
#11 and #7 are the ones which I choose because of the amazing own decal work in/out-side the game.

For #11 of it was a close call Because it was close to a race car livery.

@MMX jus glove the way you put your car together!

#2 nice how you used the car and the shape to create your animal!!

Since this was my theme I feel called to review the entries of this competition. Don’t expect objective judging – it’s just my humble opinion. I am aware of all the efforts you all put into your liveries and have great respect. With 13 entries this is an honourable result for a theme a little bit “sideways”. Thanks for being part of it.

Simple, clean, humorous, matching of model and theme. A congenial gill breather with entertaining charms. I guess the community will like it and love to take it to the track.

What a creative idea: Colourful giant beak, matching the theme very well. Fine choice of vehicle. 10 points for entertainment and creativity!

Nice details, I love the scorpion silhouette at the back grille, it is all over aggressive and terrifying, nice choice of car.

#04 “The Bull” Lamborghini Diablo GT by teensonacid
Reduced to the max, golden/black, black rear part merging with black/white bull decal. Simple idea and quickly executed. Maybe a bit too simple considering the opponents. I voted for your entry by accident hitting button #04 instead of #06. :dunce:

Beautiful idea and real impression, look at the bonus shots. The rear ends of the wings are a coup. Unfortunately the main shots look underexposed and conceal the real beauty of this bird.

#06 “Reptile” Dodge Viper Gr.4 by Rizla
Choice of car matching the idea perfectly, this is simply awesome. The reptile scale pattern looks really convincing, especially the front (mouth, lips). Dodge might use this for promo purposes without hesitation. Fantastic bonus shots, too. Fell in love with this livery at first glance. Here should have gone my first vote. Unfortunately I hit button #04. I’m so sorry and hope I do not destroy your win…:banghead:

Must be an amazing experience to watch this wildcat chasing down the “Fuchsröhre”. Great job, matching the F-Type well but maybe a little bit overloaded by decals. By the way, the bonus shots are brilliant!

#08 “Bluefin Tuna” Toyota S-FR Racing Conceptby MMX
One-of-a-kind “Tuna Car” with an impressive look. Besides the realistic "fish-scale" pattern I love the design of the logo (it might have been mirrored on the right door, though). 10 points for idea matching the car model.

#09 Goldfish Aston Martin DP-100 VGT by PrinsvOranje
I love to view this stunning result of species research and livery editing skills. The Aston fish is well done: 10 points for idea matching the car model.

#10 “Big Cat Rescue” Dallara SF19 Super Formula by KK78
Very strong reduction to black and white with a severe reminder for saving wildlife. Liveries like that I had in mind while thinking about the theme. Though the choice of car might be debatable: 10 points for commitment and 10 points for creative execution. Here goes my second vote.

A green monster ready for hunting in the Green Hell. Awesome livery with extraordinary choice of sponsor decals. Every single sticker has an animal or imaginary animal (AGIP eni) in the logo, as a silhouette or in the name. Good job: 10 points for creativity and trademark research.

#12 "Wildcat" Jaguar F-Type by McDotter
A realistic and very stylish furry look. This design I can imagine matching a street car well. That’s a perfect execution for this manufacturer – you cannot have “more Jag” on a car. 10 points for accuracy and effort. 10 points for idea matching the car manufacturer. Would have been my third vote.

#13 "Angelfish" Toyota S-FR Racing Concept by Cytoria
I love the natural design of the Emperor Angelfish and I never thought I would see this on the body of a car. An impressive job indeed and a “fishy” choice of car. At the back of the car there could have been a little more drawing imho. I can see you were running out of time. 10 points for idea matching the car model and 10 points for creative work and execution. Might have been my third vote.

Thanx for the kind words.. I was a bit too hyped with NoManSky again and forgot to change the main photo's for the contest. Glad some users have voted for me !

I went for #12 and #13, because of the same idea, taking the 'livery' from the animals and translated to two very stunning versions on the cars, the Jááguar and the S-FR !

2 and 10 for me. just outstanding work. @Raphaele thanks for the mistake vote, i'll take everything i can get. And yes, you're correct on the simplicity of my design, i didn't have much time to get that one going, family vacation and work just took over
 
2 and 8 for me, 2 is a wonderful use of decals and car and 8 is simply a really striking design- well done! I also liked 1, 7 and 13 as all capture the theme well too. No.11 is a great racing livery but does not fit the brief in my opinion
 
Sometimes less is more, and with the simpliest yet mind-shaking idea, @Noisy has the pleasure to be the first winner of this LEC season. Congratulations!

With a more complex scale pattern, @PrinsvOranje reaches the second place of the podium, and shares it with @Higny and his crocodile, the most « racy » car of this round.

I’ve already collected your liveries and took the pictures but I’ll update the winner’s post tomorrow.
