I don't really stick to just one car only, I like some change and discovering cars I don't know very well yet, but they're mostly FR. FF is definitely my least favourite type of car.

I'd like to say MR or even RR but I know that mostly I sit in Meat and Potato's Front engine rear wheel drive cars. I prefer Mid engine and enjoy the "Dangerous polar moments" you get with a tail happy Alpine or Porufsche. I guess there are more FR themed events and such. Which skews things for me.

4 wheel drive comes in as an un loved drive train. And Front wheel drive? Life is to short for that sort of understeer.

I tend to do and re-do the High performance end of the races so use a lot of MR racing cars. After MR I'd say FR is my next most common car.

I use my turbodiesel Audi-powered Pajero most of the time when I play GT5 and obviously, it's 4wd. It competes with the 330 P4 and the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo in races.

well drivetrain is almost always fr or awd. sometimes mr. i have never driven a rr yet. ff i almost never drive. I like the scion frs and bmw m5.

I chose FR, as that is the most common drivetrain I use. The car I drive the most (at least lately) has been the ARTA NSX.

FF cars... I get my FF cars to oversteer more than FR cars.

Why does everyone complain about FF cars understeering, I don't understand. Don't people even bother to try to tune FF cars? A nice limited slip diff, some healthy amounts of trail-braking, and a stiff front suspension will work wonders. Negative toe, -2.8 degrees of camber, a front roll bar of 1, rear of 7, and you're good to beat most FR cars because of the PP system's obvious flaws.

They never bothered to take into account the fact that FF cars can rotate just as well, or better, than FR cars when tuned and driven correctly. Just don't overload the front tires, they have to do everything.

would using the GTR 35 TC in a 24 hour race make it the most used?

This season I've gone away from using AWD and FR cars and tackling the biggest let down of my online career, MR cars, I have entered every series that allows them and use them, currently in a NSX LM at the moment, Was signed to run in GT500's with another NSX, and was looking at doing a few mid week races with the Evora,

Any time you want to prove that fallacy on the track you just let me know...lol. Not a chance:crazy:

I don't see what your problem is, FF cars understeer more than any other type of drivetrain in general, perhaps excluding 4WD also to avoid debate. It's just normal because of how FF works, whether that's better/more enjoying or not is a personal opinion. You can't expect people to not complain about something that is obvious.
I don't tune any of my cars personally, which I think is more fair when you want to compare one with another. If you're tuning A you can again tune B as well. Anyway, I can imagine you can get rid of some understeer in FF cars with tuning.
I get my FF cars to oversteer more than FR cars, I don't want to question you're driving but if it sounds ridiculous if you'd push both cars (drivetrains) equally. I'd like to see you deal with oversteer when exiting a corner in a FF car for example, thus when accelerating. I don't mean a corner where you can just fly through. Once you start to accelerate and the front wheels start to grip the oversteer you created with trail braking turns into understeer with most FF cars. It's not smooth and personally I find it unpleasant if a car forces me to take a wider line than I want to.

Another issue with FF cars I personally have is the range they're available in, most are around or under 400 PP. I like a little bit more, but the problem is once you go higher with FF cars the front wheels can't coop with it.

I probably mentioned it a few times but I want to make clear that I'm talking about "in general" here and "in most cases". Sure there are always some exceptions, but let's just take things as how they are experienced most of the time.

True, once you go higher, unless you throw ridiculous racing tires on the car, you then have issues with wheelspin exiting corners, especially on their native comfort softs, which most FF's come with. Even at stock HP you can still have trouble getting the power down in the tighter slower corners. Once you hit the throttle you get slight exit understeer as a result and you can't hit the throttle as early most of the time as you can in an MR/RR/FR.

I used to run 500pp Races at Le Mans with tire wear on. RS tires(I know but they were the lobby rules) In a '04 Honda Integra DC5. Thing was a rocket down the straits. I could pass people by myself while they were drafting. As long as I could hold on for the second lap I had the race in the bag so I disagree FF cars can dominate.

390ish HP with a weight of 999Kg = fast as a rocket.

The Integra is possibly the one exception to the rule, but only when on softer tires and only races short enough that tire wear doesn't become a factor. If all FF's drove like the Integra or at least close to it, I'd drive a lot more FF's!! The lift off oversteer inherent in real FF's just isn't present for most them in GT. Here's hoping they fix it for GT6:cheers:

The machine to my left.

Prefer FR and MR (FR overall). 4WD is also good for acceleration and Grip.

there is only one king:)

Honda NSX Prototype LM Race Car
Honda NSX Prototype LM Race Car
Honda NSX Prototype LM Race Car

and then:

Loctite/Mobil 1 NSX
Honda HSV
fto super touring car
peugeot 905

FR's and AWD's.
My Honda S2000 and my RX-7's. My EVO's my T34 and T35, Audi TT
OhHH and I'm not ashamed to admit that when I feel like I'm hitting a wall in a seasonal and just absolutely want to teach that McLaren F1 a lesson in the 620 PP Supercar I take my freak of nature called a J2 out. 3 gears? And almost unlimited grip potential? Sometimes is nice for grabbing the gold and the dineros and the free car. I do however take no pride in such action and make no claims to be a " victor " in said races 💡
It's more like winning a big hand at Poker with a bluff...I just silently collect my winnings and sneak out without a fuss....
However when I win a gold against that Subaru WRX Spec CEEEE! In the 530AWD seasonal with my EVO X, finely tuned by me over months, painted Bright Blur Blue with its screaming exhaust song I do take the pleasure in screaming a bit in my bedroom and making a somewhat childish yet satisfying gesture at my television.:)

FR cars, that 'steer with the rear' freedom :sly:

When I started, it was my Z06 Corvette for everything I could use it for, lately it's just been whatever hybrid interest me, at the moment a UGR TT Gallardo
