The GTO underwent a few styling changes in 1967. The louver-covered tail lights were replaced with eight tail lights, four on each side. Rally II wheels with colored lug nuts were also available in 1967. The GTO emblems located on the rear part of the fenders were moved to the chrome rocker panels. Also the grill was changed from a purely split grill, to one that shared some chrome.

The high output (HO) engine produced the most power for that year at 360 hp (270 kW) at 5100 rpm, and produced 438 lb·ft (594 N·m) at 3600 rpm. It was a RAM air engine including a functional hood scoop. A powerful engine with an open-element air cleaner, and free-flowing exhaust manifolds.

Three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic TH-400. The TH-400 was equipped with a Hurst Performance
Dual-Gate shifter, called a "his/hers" shifter, that permitted either automatic shifting in "Drive" or manual selection through the gears. Front disc brakes were also an option in 1967.

Due to its focus on performance, the 1967 Pontiac GTO remained highly applauded in road tests conducted by various sources including Motor Trend, Car life and Hot Rod Magazines. It could accelerate 0-60 in just 4.9 sec. during a test, 1967 GTO completed its quarter mile in 14.2 seconds.

It's ok, I respect that :) But I don't like the rear lights on the GTO 1967 :P

You're kind of right. The eight tail lights look older than the previous 1966 model. But I liked the front more on the 1967.

How can I not give a like for this after having one in the family since they were first released? This one is one of under 100 that was made as a coupe with bench seats.

It's got a 6.5 L 400c.i. 4 barrel. I believe its a 360hp. The car is all original except for the tyres which can be explained by 1) the engine and 2) it racing down Woodward Ave each night . A common problem with these cars is water would collect in the rear tail lights and cause the back panel to rust. My grandpa swapped out the original back panel that came with the car and put a different original 67 rear panel on it. So that has collected rust and the panel that came with the car is brand new and can be put back on at anytime.
