The Pontiac Solstice SD-290 Racer Concept was presented at the 2007 SEMA Show.
Based on the Solstice GXP convertible, the SD-290 forgoes a roof in order to save weight. The passenger seat has been removed, and the whole compartment is covered, with only a small windscreen for the driver. It wears a set of 19-inch forged wheels (with some Hoooooooooosiers for the trackday bro).
The SD-290 is fitted with the Solstice's Club Sport Z0K suspension package. 290bhp (generated by the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine) reaches the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
