The Porsche Carrera Cup is the ultimate spec series, with multiple series run across the world using identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. Each car is identical and is the ultimate test of determination and driver skill. The current Carrera Cup championship uses Porsche 911 GT3 Cups based on the current 991 chassis.

The current car is powered by a 3.8 Boxer Flat 6, similar to the engine used in the 911 GT3 road car, along with a 6 speed sequential gearbox, alluminium racing brakes (6 Pistons up front, 4 Pistons at the rear) and other racing upgrades.

For 2016 there will be 8 Carrera Cup championships held across the world, including Great Britain (BTCC Support), Germany (DTM Support), Australia (V8SC Support), Asia, Italy, France and Sweden (STCC Support).
