The Porsche 911 RSR is Porsche's GTLM racing car that was first introduced as a GT2 car back in 1999, using the 996 chassis. The GT3 RSR upgraded to the 991 chassis in 2014 and was renamed to the "911 RSR", dropping the GT3 name. The Porsche was extremely successful in 2015, winning all 3 GTLM titles (Manufacturers, Teams & Drivers) in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship. For 2016 Porsche have made several changes to the RSR to continue to keep it competitive with efforts from Corvette Racing, Ferrari and Ford, and to comply with new regulations. While Corvette Racing took the GTLM win, Porsche still finished favorably, with a 3rd in class finish by the #912 RSR, just 15 seconds behind the winning Corvette's, with the #911 car finishing in 33rd, 49 laps behind the #912.

Well, apparently Porsche is deciding to be more open for licenses, so seeing one of these in a later GT game seems now more likely. Due to this, I am now in full support of this suggestion. 👍

Also yes, more GT3 & GTLM cars in general should join the GT car list.
