The Porsche 911 GT3-RSR is a GT2 racing car that has been widely successful in the last 15 years and widely used by a huge number of racing teams in almost every racing series that follows the GT2 regulations. It started in 1999 with the 996 GT3-RSR and it is now onto the 991 generation but this is the 997 generation model used from 2006 until 2013. It is powered by a 4.0 Flat 6 engine producing 570HP and weighs just 1220KG due to the weight reduction and carbon fibre body.

Yes, but copyright. Porsches are a complete no-go. RUFs get a pass since they're recognized as a manufacturer.
We'd all love for Porsche to be in GT, but it's just not happening for a bit longer.
But didn't the deal with Porsche & EA stop? Either way, there are plenty of other Porsche's suggested and if any Porsche is to be included, this has to be one of them.

Again, (as with the Saleen S7R), the "LM24/ELMS/ALMS/FIAGT" in the title isn't necessary as pretty much many of us already know where that car raced.

Also, the EA deal has NOT expired.
