Ok guys. You all know (OK most of you know............Fine...... Some of you) that I like to build model cars. Now these cars look extremely beautiful on the box, but when I’ve finished building and painting, they tend to look like a dogs ass. Some of you may remember the fiasco with the Porsche 911 GT3 . It began life Yellow. I painted it Grey. It was so bad I had to paint it Black, to hide any problems. Even that didn’t turn out very well.

What I propose is based on my troubles with the super car mentioned above (The Porsche 911 GT3) I wish to redo the paint work. Below is a blank picture of the car. I’d like any willing and imaginative people to help me think up a paint job. You can put your ideas to paper on the blank image. If your idea(s) are good enough, I’ll use them and as proof, I’ll take pics and post them.

Guidelines-

• No pimp like stuff Eg Flames, Pimp wheels and lowering the **** out of it
• No rice/Boy racer stuff EG Type R decals (We all know that they do not give an extra 10hp, or I hope we all know)
• Race car colour schemes get a my thumbs up
• Road car Porsche colours are good too
• Easy to do, with spray cans.

Why not paint it like a GT3 RS? Might be a bit simpler than doing a full race paint job.

I'm just after ideas right now. It doesn't have to be full race car shemes.

Put your ideas onto the pic posted. That way I know what you are meaning (Ofcourse I know what the RS colours look like), but if anyone does have any like race car colour schemes, then I need to be able to copy them. Anyone with photoshop and is good with it can probably use it for practice, for if it comes to comps and you want to keep your edge.

I've seen two RSs on the road, they look amazingly cool, so i'd say that was a good suggestion.
If i get the time i'll get something together. It's pretty similar to tooning really

Due to the lack of ideas posted in this thread (Thanks Revhead and OOOOOOOOLD Donny, for your contributions. May have been the same idea, but meh!), I've decided to give the black another try. I must say, it looks better. If it still doesn't work then I'll come back to this thread. This mean I still want ideas guys. Anyway, here is the latest.

you do remove the previous paint before putting on a new one dont you? only that does look a bit lumpy
