Today in-game I purchased the Porsche 911 GT3 in GT Sport. After test driving the car I was highly disappointed, personally I felt the car was broken. I feel like the car should not slide as easy as it does in the game (felt like driving on ice using Racing Soft on all 4) Anyone feel the same or is just me?

I've read IRL the 911 GT3 is bit of a handful buy very responsive to a more nuanced driving style. Might want to take it easy on the throttle.

Haven't driven the GT Sport rear-engine, rear drive car yet, but if it's like the Yellow Bird in GT6 then it is, and should be, a handful. Rear engine cars tend to understeer when you're on the throttle and oversteer when you lift off the throttle. This can make them especially prone to snap oversteer if one carries too much speed into a corner and lifts off the throttle abruptly.

A lot of people complained about the Yellow Bird in GT6 but I thought it was rather faithfully represented. When I have some time this weekend, I'll put the 911 GT3 through some testing and see how it feels. But I do expect it to be quite lively and to try to kill me if I push it too far.

I admit I was a little aggressive, but I got back to the game and took it out on a track I was more familiar with and the car handled fine. Now I am quite satisfied with the 911! I can agree the car is a handful and can say it is fun to drive! :)

Porches/RUF's have in my opinion always been the hardest to handle in the game, as they are light rear engine, rear wheel drive cars, so not so unrealistically I think. Porches are legendary because of that special trait.

I saw the same complaint about the 996 GT3 in Forza 6. I just don't think people expect them to drive like they do.

If you're neat with them, they respond like nothing else. If you over drive them, they're like a pendulum.

For me, the GT3 RS reminded me of the RE Amemiya FD3S (touge monster) as it is surprisingly balanced for an RR layout.

It has “widwomaker” tendencies. But once the controller steering issue is fixed, it might be even more fun to drive.

Porsche 911s aren’t the easiest to drive, that’s for sure. But with the RS, you can tell that Porsche really dedicated to perfect the rather quirky layout.

The 911 GT3 in real life has loads of grip and is not easy to slide.

Im just glad it doesn't handle like that absolute trash the RUF cars were in GT6
