In 1987, to commemorate its 12th overall victory at Le Mans, Porsche assembled a special version of its sports-coupe-for-the-masses, the 924S. Dubbed the Le Mans edition in most markets, here the car carried option code 756 and was officially known as the Special Edition, though some did indeed come with Le Mans graphics. All Special Edition 924S models also received larger antiroll bars front and rear, a lower ride height, stiffer springs and gas-filled struts, along with the 160-horsepower, 2.5-liter four also found in the 944.

I went through and read the guidelines, still don't understand where I went wrong, sorry if I mucked up categorization. I do understand now how this is serious business to some, I'm still very new and want to participate. Guess I'll have to be more careful with how and where I post.

I prefer the 924 Turbo, but you still have my vote :) The 924 is a great car and deserves to be in the GT-series :)
I think the 924 carera GT 1982 is somewhere in this list, which is the ultimate 924, I chose this one because of its limited edition, only 750 or so built with beefed up "la man's" suspension. I figure if there can be like fifty different versions of the Mazda roadsters there can be a couple of 924s

Hm, Yeah maybe the Carrera GT has been suggested, I can't remember :) Oh, I see the 924S SE was a limited edition that I didn't know, that was a fun thing to know :) Can you write or find some more info of the 924S SE? :)

Yes, I'm with you, but i think it's more cars that deserves to have more than one version of a model. Like the 924, like you said, and for a example the Volvo 142 series :)
