can you use these to transfer replays from memory card to computer. i saw the usb hard drives in a flyer one day and was wondering if i should spend my money on one.

you guys could use a DV camcorder to record replays and to the computer. If your Dv Camcorder has a input and output with red white and yellow, then you can record to your DV and then to the computer if your computer have I-Link. I think so, i use to do that in my Video Production class.

oh ok and i think my school has capture cards on all the computers but i dont know why they would. they are blue and they have red white and yellow ports with an s video port

I didn't think of that! I'm retarded....:banghead:

to answer drifter7's question:

No, most likely it will not transfer data to the computer. I have a 100mb zip drive and they tell me I need a Gameshark-compatible zip drive. Uhh no thank you.

Also, transfering replays will not let you capture videos. In the end you'll need the PS2 to play them. That's what the capture card is for, to use the PS2 on a computer screen, letting you record it.

I agree with 19xx but you might find more help in the computer forum...So that is where i will move this thread :)

You may be able to transfer replays, but they wouldn't be video files. Replays are saved using descriptions of events, which the PS2 can then re-render.

Ok I have a Sony vidoe camera. I just got the movie maker 2.0. I have the camera connected to the s-video adapter and the yellow RC video adapter. On my computer I dont have the red or white RC adapter so I can't get sound. So how do I get just the video on it says its not reading the device and it's on too.
