Hey gt pals,
Just a lil quick thought for discussion, why when i look on here especially at de la sarthe all the tunes have neg front toe angles and higher rear toe angles. I suffered from the same thing kinda putting the same tune on cars especially in that area of the tune but on de la sarthe there are no real sweeping turns where you would even benefit from that negative toe up front. So yes i went positive up front for turn in cause of its quick chicanes and 90 degree turns. And havent looked back now of course since i did this i didnt need the rear tires to turn with the car as much so i turned down the rear toe settings and its alot more responsive and easier to drive through the turns. Also when it comes to dampner settings its like some people like to stick with the same ol same ol and dont realize your compression needs to be at least 1 point lower than your extension mine are usually 2. And for those who have a wheel and force feedback jacked up and dont believe that dampners make a differnce hop on de la sarthe with that ridgid 8 and 8 setup and then adjust down and youll find out real quick on the back stretch and through the turns when your wheel is smooth and aint fighting you that yes some of the changes you make on that car really can make your driving experience so much more enjoyable so easily. Unlike AERODYNAMICS ggrrrhhhh the most important thing (wait dont get started on that again chatty). Well fellow gt lovers lemme know what you think and some of the other things youve found out while tuning that was a sublime surprise.

Great! You've found a set up that works for you?

I assume the other set ups you've seen promote a more stable set up?

I wouldnt say stable man cause even with those adjustments I can drive a GT one no aids ABS1 and be giving it throttle throttle through the turns and even hamming the throttle while exiting. I would just say better not more stable or looser or anything just better by trying things outside the box and the normal which seems to be what more or less the tunes on here are.

Sure ill help you guys out by saying you guys can sit on it, if all you have to talk about is my writing dont post. This isnt a thread about my grammar or english. Just busting your balls dude. Try to have a sense of humour about it. And seriously, though, your original post was incredibly hard to read.

Don't worry chattimus, they couldn't tell you what negative toe is from their big toe. 'Camber' and 'Toe' adjustments are used to give big variations in cornering ability and with straightline grip. Lots of people use negative toe as it makes the cars more stable under turning conditions ie: corners. Toe can have a huge effect on a few different aspects here, with turning circle and initial turn-in being of the utmost importance in my opinion. They may not necessarily be the best settings but they do help(negative toe I mean).
