I have a pretty fortunate situation in that I have 3 PS4s in my house. Why is a long story but I have noticed that between my main wheel rig console and my media center console I am missing colors in the livery editor. It seems to be with the colors purchased in whatever is the current mileage exchange.

For example, the current exchange has a florescent orange. I purchased that on my main console but when I switch to the bigger screen on the media console it is not shown as a selection in the editor. However, I can see previous purchased such as Performance Blue, K3 half matte, etc. In fact I've purchased the entire bottom row in the current exchange and none of them are there in the editor. If I go to the exchange on my main console they have the blue check marks but on the media console they do not.

I find this happens with everything from pictures to replays and saved liveries. Some of that I get but paint colors? Seems like the flags do get saved to the cloud since the old purchases are there but why then are the current ones missing? Bug or working as intended? Anyone else run into this?

Is it to do with the Playstation not been fully switched off (not in standby mode). My understanding is GTS will keep data locally (despite this incessant need to be online) and won't fully retreive all info until fully switched off and on. I could be wrong though so don't blame me if you lose any progress!

I'll have to try that. I do keep my consoles in rest mode when I can so they update without my input. I've done a restart but didn't try full off and on.

I've noticed the last couple days the M4 Gr.4 I purchased was not showing up on the second console so I can check and test with that. Will report back with findings!

This is local save-game data. You need to upload your local save to the SEN cloud and download it again on the different consoles. Same with pictures, liveries, replays etc. you didn’t share with the GT Community online. It’s saved locally on your PS4.

Sweet! Glad I have PS+ now and don't have to do the Flash Drive Shuffle like I did with GT5! :D

So just to put this one to bed, because I hate when people ask questions about issues and don't post the solution...

Was missing the M4 Gr.4 from my secondary PS4. Here's what I tried to get it to show:

  • Made sure that my primary PS4 synced data to my PS+ cloud storage.
    • If you don't have PS+ copy to a flash drive instead.
  • Logged in on the secondary console and saw that the M4 was still missing.
  • Put the console in rest mode and powered back on and back into the game; still missing.
  • Restarted the console and back in; still missing.
  • Powered off, waited for 5 minutes, back on and in; still missing.
  • Synced data from online storage; car magically appears!
    • XMB > highlight GT Sport > press options button > upload/download saved data > select, download and overwrite all files > start game
    • Substitute copy/overwrite from USB storage as needed
Presumably this can be used for cars and anything purchased in the mileage exchange as some missing paint is also there now. I did not check whether replays or photos are affected. Thanks @syntex123 and @jimbo197 for your help and suggestions.
