It's only certain cars that have this...not only can you change the color, but you can change the entire racing scheme (different sponsorship). An example would be some of the VW Golfs. And some Skylines i think. There are others but not too many of them, and i'm forgetting what they are.
I know that, but the FIAT 500 Sporting only has ONE, not two, I been knew about the change type button there. The AI has special RM's, since I can only get like what, two colors?

Ohh yeah and the Tommy Kaira M30 (R31) is in the Turbo cup, even when it's NA.

I see.

DOH! :embarrassed:UCH:

If you get an Opel Vectra, you will always see the whole front inside tire while turning. :odd:

And the Terios Kid can go on 3 wheels too. :)

Anyone notices that the Diahatsu Mira TR-XX with 2 mufflers is 4WD, even though it ONLY came in FF when you read the info page?

I drove this car because it looked a bit fun to drive with the diminuitive size and 2 mufflers, and kind of sporty styling.

If you want realistic performance from the BMW 528i, just install all engine mods except exhaust. Then put the NA to stage one, and that's it, although the torque is a bit higher, it still does 0-60 in 7 like in real life.

That's cool.

The BMW 740i has severe RPM jumps, and is most noticable in the first 4 gears when the ratios are stock, I never got a gearbox, so I'm not sure if the gearbox removes the RPM jumps. This only happens when the car is in full tune.

The small road between the pit lane and the track in Laguna Seca is considered to be gravel while it's tarmac :)

If you're curious, check it by yourself, but don't forget to switch on the sound.

Yeah, i've noticed this too. The last endurance race i did at laguna in gT2 i got too far ahead of the Ai, so to challenge myself i started driving on that little pit road  just cuz i was getting bored. I think i started a thread about it, too.

I had the buggy CD's of GT2 (Never got the empty garage :D ) and I remember in Arcade mode, if you were to follow that road carefully the computer would take over the car until the strip finished. Kind of like while you're in pit lane, with the speed limit.

It's probably alread been said, but you can also see a Vector M12 LM Edition Race Car at Trial Mountain 30 Laps in North American versions. (probably 1.0)

I believe it is version 1.0

I remember getting so ticked off at how that could be, it took me a few hours to realize I had the buggy version of the game. I'll admit, the best car for that race is the Toyota 2000 GT. That or the Toms Angel that you win in one of the races.

What I noticed was that when you spun, and drove back the other way on the last corner, the replay showed you drving into a wall. Did I miss anything or was that it!

I dont' think there's any end to the problems found in gT2! Hence, this thread is now 19 pages long. It should have died long ago but people keep finding more stuff wrong...:yuck:

If you try to enter the tuned turbo car no.1 cup with an NA car, a message will come up saying, this race is for naturally-aspirated cars only, you cannot enter :dunce:

This is on PAL version, not sure about the others.

Actually, this is the only thing they did RIGHT for vehicle restrictions. They should have done it for all parts of the game, yet it was only that championship that the did anything with.

I.E. Why can you enter the Escueso (sorry for stealing your nickname, Parnelli...) in the Muscle Car Cup?

What do you mean? Viper-Fan told that the game says "this race is for NA cars only" instead of "this race is for turbo cars only"...

And, the Excuseo is eligible because there are no power and car restrictions, or are you serious?

How many oddities are we at so far? It appears that GT2 was an ill-conceived game, for this list.

UPDATE: WE ARE AT 213 ODDITIES, NO REPEATS!

I should have made myself clearer. That was an example of what normally happens, when there should only be muscle cars.

Both. I am serious; you really can enter the Excueso in the Muscle Car Cup.

Thanks for bringing this up, guys.

Holy 🤬 did you actually count them all??? Let's give superberkut a toast everybody!!

TO SUPERBERKUT!!!

I'll post a screenshot later on.

Off topic: I'm forbidden to turn on the PS on weekdays lol, damn mock exams. :ouch:

Edit: I have one of the earliest versions of the game. The buggy version that says you need to have passed the IA licence to enter the Muscle Car Cup.

Here it is, thats what happens when you enter the Turbo Car Cup with an NA car.

Yes, and that was a VERY SHORT toast. Too bad...

However, 2 were just normal idiosyncrasies of the car, so it may be 211. But, we have 213 'mistakes', not including confirmed reports (solutions) posted.
