I know there is probably a sticky or thread already for this but honestly that didn't help me at all. So if one of you wouldn't mind further explaining this step by step to me i would really appreciate it.
Question on how to post pictures on GTP. I have had many people try to help me do this. One thing is i used the app on my android phone and i wasn't sure if i could from post from it. Also what's the size of the picture its self that can be posted.

I have tried the posting on photobucket then post on here and i still have problems. This will be the last time i will try so i hope you guys can help. If i can't get it this time i give up

There is a sticky that explains the process...

I'm not sure where you are finding the most trouble, but I think some people have problems typing the "code" in their post... the part with the

If you QUOTE this post, you will see exactly how I typed it.
Good luck. Any more info on what your problems are? Try to post a photo here and I'll take a look. Use a photobucket one Sir. It is the image hosting service I use, so that might help.

And don't give up! How about after we get this accomplished I gift you something? Some matte or chrome paints, a car? Something like that? Don't give up! GT5 Photomode is amazing, and posting photos here or on other message boards is simple once you get the hang of it.

Ok i made this one picture on my phone to 480 x 360. And just tried to post it on here and after it tries to upload it says "invalid file" i get that every time

Re-post it. If like to see the invalid file info.

Are you trying to post from your phone (or your PC) directly to the thread? You can't do that. You need to send the photo to Photobucket or a similar image hosting site first.

Basically... An image on photobucket has a permanent location, address, and is always able to be included in a post no matter when the float is viewed from any computer of phone anywhere in the world.

Sometimes your phone is OFF, or your PC is OFF... So a direct link from one of those two locations to a post in a thread will not work, and therefore is an invalid file address.

Correct post with the proper address and
code

Incorrect code with correct address... The [ is missing from the beginning and a ] from the end, so the result looks like...

No code at all... Just a link...

Thanks you guys for the help that answered my questions. I guess i will have to go make a photo bucket account. I wish it was as simple to do as just uploading it straight to the site but oh well....
Thanks again.

Mod please close this thread so it doesn't clutter. Thanks
