I was wondering, is there any way to just post replay files from the PS3 to here without using some kind of specialized recorder? Or am I just stuck with using a phone for that?

Well, there isn't a feature like that yet. However, if I were you, I would look into a screen capture card. They usually go fore around $120 and they record sound (5.1 DD) and video (1080i).

You can upload the files in GTP and the person who wants to watch just needs to copy to a USB drive and put it on the PS3... In the game, just open the new file... 👍

Okay, I'll do that then cbarbosa, thanks. 👍

Some small instructions:

You need to unzip the file, it will be unzipped as a folder titled : (namefile), copy this folder to a USB flash drive, create a directory X:\PS3\SAVEDATA\(namefile), put the replay folder there - like this : X:\PS3\SAVEDATA\(namefile)
Insert the USB drive onto the PS3, open PS3 Save Data Utility, copy the replay, it will be shown as GT6 replay 030. Now launch GT6, go to gallery, go to right tab, under filter, pick Load files - open list, it should appear there, and you can view it.

The replays are not zipped by default; if you export from the game, and then copy from the XMB to USB (PS3 game data section), it'll create a folder on the USB called PS3\SAVEDATA, and in there will be the exported replays, stored as several files in folders named after the regional game ID and a "RPLY000" number (e.g. BCJS37016-RPLY001).

Obviously, it's a good idea to zip them up into one file before trying to upload it anywhere. :D

I know that. 👍 Some cloud services (Dropbox) are used by many members as a way to pass the files. The instructions I posted were applied to that situation.

I figured you would, but I just wanted to complete the circle with the export part for beginners. 👍

Also, to clarify the folder structure the PS3 creates; I've seen shared zips that have PS3 in the root...
