Posts per page ...

Is it possible to jack up the number of posts per page that we can view? The max right now is 40, but sometimes on longer threads (and in "New posts since your last visit"), I just change the web address to include like 90 or 150 or something. I do that in the different user lists too, so I can view more information at the same time.
