Hi all! 1st post!

Its not often that I feel compelled to post on forums, I usually just get carried away reading all the threads. This game however, has changed the game....I cant put it down.

Anyway, I was thinking, when it comes to the multiplayer aspect, it can be tricky picking fair cars to compete with particularly in professional ad-hoc mode.

Does anyone have a full car list in say Excel format which displays Car name, Price, Power, torque and Weight? With the power and weight stats, an extra field can be calculated Power/Weight = BHP per tonne.....a much more useful way of picking out a fair and competitive playing field - will highlight some interesting car clashes.

Does anyone else experience extreme slow down when using ad-hoc? I know about the 30fps thing, but surely it shouldn't be making anything with less than 300bhp feel like its crawling?

Cheers!

;-)

I do have such a list, but I haven't finished checking it for errors and for PD's ridiculous adherence to the "Gentleman's Agreement" (where cars are displayed as "276hp" in the garage but can churn out anywhere from 270 to 350hp) and putting "-" for various values even though they've obviously modelled them.

If you're desperate, the car list is the same as the unified GT4 one I made last year and I'm pretty sure the values are the same. The list is obviously missing the unique additions for GT PSP (2 Lamborghinis, 2 Ferraris, Bugatti Veyron, Citroen GT, the two Audi R8 LMS, the Pescarolo '05, Mazda Furai, Nissan GT-R) but otherwise it should be pretty much exactly the same.

That is a serious listing!! Thanks! Love the B-Spec trial mountain times - gives a good indicator along with the BHP/Weight.

I did wonder why just about every other car seemed to have 276hp!!

Thanks again.

Great work with the list looks like interesting reading but why is there no time for the Mini Cooper?

The list was generated from information mainly in my PAL version of GT4 with times from my B-Spec driver. The Mini Cooper doesn't appear in the PAL version and my B-Spec driver is a complete retard in my NTSC-J version, so any time he generates would not be representative.
