This is the standing start race right? I didn’t make a tune per say but I used a R32 for the 4WD launch off the line. I found it miserable trying to get a good launch in a RWD or FWD car and by the time I got to 2nd/3rd the leader was too far gone.

Hopefully someone can help you out with an actual tune but for sure, would recommend a 4WD car if you’re trying to build something yourself.

For me, I think the Ek9 touring car from the used car market is the best option from my standpoint. I saw some people buy the MX-5 touring from brand central and win with ease.

I agree with Christian on the 4wd, getting that good launch off the line, and my experience with the R32 in this game has been fantastic! That said, my R32 is now 700+, so it'd be unreasonable to de-tune it at this point. If no one else has posted a tune @550, i'll get another and do the race myself so i know it's a winning setup 😉

Yes, for Ek9 you do not have straight line speed, AI will catch up with you in the Tsukuba long straight line before crossing the finish line. But you have good cornering since the car is relatively lighter than others, and I always like to attack in the corner. With 550pp, my Ek9 time lap is around low 1min 3 with a tune.

I remember doing that with an FF Peugeot something-something.
Stock was around 450 so there was plenty of room to power it up good.
The FF off a standing start puts you in 4th or 5th at 1st turn. Plus the FF drivetrain eats those corners easily.

I have a very good Alpine tune which makes any PP550 race a breeze. Always up front in multiplayer lobbies as well and only snap oversteers when you know you are pushing it with TCS off(I easily race it with TC off).
Havent tried the particular event but Im convinced it would work for it.

I can post it once I get home, just let me know.

@demonchilde he is right~ Here's my build,
I fine tune it yesterday~ better torque and better turning. Someone one from my discord share me his turbo build too~ personally I prefer NA, but you can definitely give it a try

Would love to see your Alpine build 😊

Actually just add me on psn: Sjokkomoes.

Maybe I’m missing something but uploading a screenshot seems like a pain
Uploading from a phone?
(Thats what I do, it's easier)
Theres a file size limit per picture.

-take the picture on your phone of the screenshot.
-Go to gallery, go to pic.
-hit edit.
-Top right hand corner, theres the three dots for options. Hit that, and in that menu hit "resize", and choose the lowest number.
-hit save.
Now when you upload here, it will be under the max file size and work.

The base Alfa 4c does it. I'm not sure what all I did to tune it, but being MR made navigating the sharp turns much quicker. It did give up a lot on the back straight.

Gearbox exploit?!?! How do you do that?

I am struggling with this race. I cant seem to pull away quicker than the AI.
Install the fully customizable gearbox. Lower the speed setting to around 230, then check your PP. Play with that and the final gear and and you will see the PP drop by as much as 10 or 20 points. You can then increase your power or decrease ballast to get to the right PP. I got an extra 40 hp in the G70 Gr 4 car, and improved lap times by 3 seconds on Brands Hatch. It works on street cars too. I got 20 or 30 extra HP out of the 2019 Supra when setting it up for 550pp.

OK, I have that installed already.

But when you say play with that what do you mean? I'm not trying to sound dumb I just want to make sure it's clear lol.

For nistance tje Alpine A110 has 7 gears. Just move 7th gear, which you don't need, all the way to the right and watch your PP drop.

Can somebody write video or full setup instruction for car to win this race on hard difficulty? I have spent more then 300 000 cr. for different setups of 7 cars and still can't get the car fast enough. It seems like I do mistakes in setup, but can't see it

What's your lap time on Tsukuba now and which car you plan to use?
