Practice?

Are we going to get to practice on the tracks at all? other then the qualifying race? Seems like it just going to be a game of who knows the tracks, which i dont really know any unfortunately

I'm honestly not going to worry too much about it. There are too many variables that will change at the event. I plan on spending sometime in the next 2 weeks running the tracks in various nissan cars but only so I can get used to braking points and all that. I'm sure each race will have a practice session for all to get used to the track again.

If I were you guys I would start searching for random lobbies with Skid Recovery Force off, and no boost etc. You can find international lobbies with a lot of good drivers and that will help your racecraft and you can get to know the tracks at the same time.

I wouldn't be surprised though if they put you on some sort of "create a track".

Honestly, I don't know if practice will even matter with how ridiculous the drafting is. This was by far the worst problem with prologue and now we head to the finals of GT academy with it still in the latest version of the next iteration of the game. The last place you want to be in a race is out in front, is that racing? It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't full effect or nothing, the fact that the boost amount is way over done AND you get the full effect 1 sec or more back just ruins racing in the game.

I'll be sending out friend requests to you guys tonight if it's ok. I'd like to join up for some races. I haven't turned on the PS3 since the Academy and I'm itching to race.
