I'm guessing that it'll be only be on disc so it won't become available on the PS Store. Just like GT5.

Why not order it online then, to be delivered to you? Anyway you're only in Belgium, it's not like you live in Siberia. I'm sure you can bear the cold for one day to buy the game.

I'll say the exact same as above; order it online :). But, as for preordering bonus content, that's a thing I've never heard of...

No, GT5 save data with updates took around 11GB, the game digitally would take around 19GB-25GB, Sony said GT5 was just not possible because of the space it takes, GT6 will be even bigger so forget it, No GT6 in Ps store.

Not it wouldn't, GT5 on disc was just under 14GB. No reason it'd be any bigger digitally.

No they didn't and there are plenty of games on PS store that are 25GB+ anyway. Size isn't the reason it's not there, I'd guess it's probably licensing issues.

Just under 14GB? where did you get that from? Uncharted 2 was 19GB and Black ops was 18GB, pretty sure GT5 is bigger than both of those games, it would fit since it's digitally, pretty sure it would be over 14GB, then add the 11GB save, just too much.
Licensing isn't an issue, Sony owns GT5, then can put it on PS Store if they wanted to.

Edit: GT5 on disc is approx 19.5GB so that 14GB guess wasn't necessary.

I ended up just pre-ordering it from GameStop yesterday - if it IS also available in the store, I'd never do it.

My internet would take at least 5 days to finish GT5 (with the updates), so GT6 through the Store is a no-go for me.

Put your disc in a Blu-Ray PC drive. It's just under 14GB, the main archive itself (ie not counting movie files and other miscellany) is 11.8GB. That website is wrong and that wasn't just a guess.

You don't need to 'add' the 11GB save because that isn't the save files, it's taken from the GT5 disc. A digital copy of GT5 would be the same size on your HDD as the disc version.

You do need to install the updates which is included in that 11GB i mentioned, installing GT5 takes 5-6GB, rest is the space from updates, Simple answer would be that GT5 sales well on discs, PD/Sony don't see a reason to release it digitally.

Sony owns GT5. Sony doesn't own all of the things featured in GT5.

True, if they are able to put it on a disc, they are able to put it on PS Store, i heard PD didn't want GT5 digital because GT5P digital sales were low, they didn't see a lot profit from digital release.

Except that's not true, because for the purposes of the content licenced in the game from other companies by Sony releasing something to a disc and releasing something on PSN could be completely separate concepts.

If Sony really wanted a digital version of GT5, they would release it.

As i mentioned above, GT5 sales great on disc, no reason to release it digitally, people also share digital games with friends, simple answer: Sony just doesn't want GT5 to be released digitally since, they already made a lot money from the sales and continue making them.

Again, if they could release it. Because something Sony licenced to be included for a game released on a disc would not necessarily mean that it is automatically licenced to be released completely digitally.

I'm saying that the possibility exists, yes. Gran Turismo TV alone would almost certainly be a complete mess to sort out if GT5 was released on PSN.

I think the best thing to do is pre-order in online shop. Surely you should be able to find it on your area ? There are lot of games available to download via PS store I would think GT6 will also be there. Not sure it will be available day1 though. Moreover many new games prices are same as disk so not much use.
