Why would you preorder a digital game anyway?
No, GT5 save data with updates took around 11GB, the game digitally would take around 25-35GB
Sony said GT5 was just not possible because of the space it takes, GT6 will be even bigger so forget it, No GT6 in Ps store.
Not it wouldn't, GT5 on disc was just under 14GB. No reason it'd be any bigger digitally.
No they didn't and there are plenty of games on PS store that are 25GB+ anyway. Size isn't the reason it's not there, I'd guess it's probably licensing issues.
Licensing isn't an issue, Sony owns GT5, then can put it on PS Store if they wanted to.
Just under 14GB? where did you get that from? Uncharted 2 was 19GB and Black ops was 18GB, pretty sure GT5 is bigger than both of those games, it would fit since it's digitally, pretty sure it would be over 14GB, then add the 11GB save, just too much.

Edit: GT5 on disc is approx 19.5GB so that 14GB guess wasn't necessary.

Put your disc in a Blu-Ray PC drive. It's just under 14GB, the main archive itself (ie not counting movie files and other miscellany) is 11.8GB. That website is wrong and that wasn't just a guess.
You don't need to 'add' the 11GB save because that isn't the save files, it's taken from the GT5 disc. A digital copy of GT5 would be the same size on your HDD as the disc version.
Sony owns GT5. Sony doesn't own all of the things featured in GT5.
True, if they are able to put it on a disc, they are able to put it on PS Store
Except that's not true, because for the purposes of the content licenced in the game from other companies by Sony releasing something to a disc and releasing something on PSN could be completely separate concepts.
If Sony really wanted a digital version of GT5, they would release it.
