It's been years since I dabbled with SLR photography; film was getting a bit expensive for my budget. Now that I have a little more cash flow, and I'm getting frustrated at the limited creative control of my P&S digital cameras, I'm looking at a used Canon EOS Digital kit 6.2MP with charger, manuals, EF-S 18-50mm lens, all the other basic stuff included, according to the manual.
The body is in near-perfect shape, no scratches or marring, no greasy fingerprints, no dust on mirror, first image that I took with it was labeled "IMG_1630", so it's realistically taken 1600 shots in its lifetime, based on it's condition.
Buyer wants US$300-350. I'm a bit rusty on the SLR stuff (gotta read up on some of the basics again), but from my prior experience from Canon's AE-1 and the EF-interchangable lenses of my EOS Rebel XS, this seems a logical choice, so I'm sure I'll pick up where I left off...A co-worker loaned it to me for a few days, to see if I'd like it.
Anyhow, your thoughts on this?
