I think this stemmed from the error the IGN guide had on its prize list, not sure how many of you know this already. But for the record, the Clubman Cup awards a 1993 Miata (J), the Beginner's Spider and Roadster awards a Miata LS (NOT RS), and the Beginner's GT World Championship awards a 1989 Miata (J). Also, the Miata VR Limited A/B is just a 1993 Miata...

yes i can also vouch to the Beginner's GT World Championship awarding a 1989 Miata (J). i was pretty suprised after winning 10 races, i ended up with a car worth less than 4000 Crs.
 
I think it differs between PAL and NTSC doesn't it?
 
Hmm...Well, I have PAL. I don't think we have an LS here, just the RS. The highest model of Miata gives out about 160 bhp, I think it's a 1.8 RS...
